Description: Postcrypt is an acoustic/folk music venue run by student volunteers on the Columbia University campus. Founded in 1964, Postcrypt features up-and-coming folk artists, but a few well known acts have been known to pass through the doors. Postcrypt is open Friday and Saturday nights from 8:30 to Midnight during the academic term (September to May). It features fair-trade/organic coffee, tea, and a great selection of beer...oh yeah, and the popcorn is free.
